Silica 0.5-1.2 White Silica Sand

Natural white silica sand is ideal as a substrate for aquariums. It adds a natural look to your aquarium while ensuring the safety of more sensitive species such as catfish and mussels. The fine grains of white silica sand protect the delicate whiskers of these species and provide other animals with a comfortable and durable material for scratching and moving around, mimicking their natural behavior in the wild.

Recommended use

Before use, we recommend washing the sand in clean water to remove all dust particles. Add the sand to the bottom of the aquarium and spread it evenly. When filling the aquarium with water, avoid direct water splashes on the sand to prevent it from being stirred. After filling the aquarium, remove all floating particles and turn on the filter to purify the water.
